About Dr. Michéal Gallagher
Michéal is a former student of the St. Mary’s Academy CBS, Carlow and qualified with a Medical Degree from NUI Galway. He has spent 10 years training as an Eye Surgeon in the United Kingdom obtaining a Fellowship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London. He underwent further training in the United States at Massachusetts Eye Research & Surgery Institute,
Harvard Medical School, where he obtained a second Fellowship. In September
2007, Michéal graduated from University of Glasgow with a Masters Degree in Medical Law.
His practice includes the treatment of patients with a broad spectrum of eye complaints including cataract surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery, the treatment of childhood squint, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and inflammatory eye disease. His state of the art clinic is fully equipped and includes a Treatment Room.
